Okay, so my darling youngest daughter tagged me on this Man Tag thing. I'm new to blogging so to set the record straight Amber, you're not playing nice to tag someone so new to the blogging world! I like to read posts and not actually have to do much otherwise. Okay, now that I chewed her out......here goes......
How long have the two of you known each other? 30 1/2 years. Glad I didn't know him in high school--don't think we would have thought much of each other!
Where did you meet? His version--we met the night of Prom at my uncle's Pizza/IceCream Parlor. He came in with some friends and I was working at the counter. I don't remember him-I do remember a bunch of guys coming in through the back door and harrassing me. My version--we met after a baseball game that I was at to watch my uncle play. They were on the same team and I thought the 3rd baseman was pretty hot. After the game, a mutual friend introduced us. Terry and my uncle were also in the same ward. I started attending church with my uncle STAT!! ;) ;)
How old is he? If I told you, it would be giving away a national secret!!! He's older than me.
Does he have a nickname for you? He has several but NONE of them are blog worthy or appropriate!
What's your favorite feature of his? I love his eyes--he has two different colors--VERY interesting.
Is he taller? Yep, by quite a bit!
Who can sing best? Neither one of us can sing or carry much of a tune!
Who is smarter? Definetely HIM. "He's my Jeremiah Johnson"--he knows TONS of stuff.
Who does laundry? ME--unfortunately--but he helps me when he's around.
Who pays bills? HIM--I hate that pressure.
Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? He does. Although, after 30 years of marriage we have swapped numerous times.
Who mows the lawn? Him. I don't push the mower--EVER!
Who cooks dinner? same answer as the laundry duty--I prefer to eat out!
What's your favorite thing to do as a couple? We enjoy a nice sit down dinner and a movie. We also like to just be together--running errands, painting, etc.
What is your favorite quality about him? His integrity--he's the MOST honest person I know!
What do you admire most about him? His commitment to our family, the gospel, and his personal responsibilities (whether work, church, family, or home). Also, he is not a lazy man--he's ALWAYS doing something--usually something from his honeydo list. The boy never sits still. I admire LOTS of things about him--he's dang near perfect!
Who is the first to admit their wrong? Usually him--but we rarely fight or disagree.
When and where was your first kiss? We had been dating for a month before he held my hand or kissed me--they happened on the same night. We were on a double date and in the backseat of my Toyota. My roommate was driving. Can't remember what the date had been. Only the kiss and the handholding. I was smitten at that point! Don' t ask why I wasn't driving my own car--I don't remember that either! I was only thinkin of him and lookin at him!
Who wears the pants? Technically he does, but we make most decisions together so we both sorta do. I'm glad I'm not the main pants wearer--I prefer knee shorts!!
Will he read this? Yep, he regularly checks the blogs of our kids and checks ours as well for comments from our kids.
